I’m going to tell you about my lebaran holidays…

It was the night of August 30^th, and it was beautiful night for it was the night before lebaran. That night me and mya brothers and sisters celebrating that night by playing simple music tools. Just by doing it, we can make all the neighbor came out their house and join us. It was fun.

The next day, August 31^st, we went to Islamic Center, to do Lebaran’s Pray. After that, we gather at home to forgive each ather and eat, and then we visit relatives and neighbor to silaturrahmi.

At noon me and my father went to the village, at Gombong, Central of Java. We took the 13.30 train and got there at 22.00.

The next day ath the village, me and my father sungkem (ask for forgiveness) to both my grandparents and relatives. After that we went to the neighbours. That day I’m not going anywhere, just playing at home with my cousins.

The next morning me and my cousins going to the beach to have fun. We purposely went late at noon, so we could the the sunset. At the beach, we play by the water, sands and the most important thing is taking pictures. Taking pictures it’s a must in every great moments, not to mention it’s one of my hobby. We came home from the beach and had dinner. The menu is duck satay. It was a great day, yet exhausted.

The morning after, my relatives from Bandung went home, so just me and my Gombong’s cousin left. That day we drive around, searching for Gombong’s special culinary. At night, me and my father went home to Surabaya. We took the 19.00 bus. It was total traffic jam all the way. Usually it takes just 3 – 4 hours to get to Jogja from Gombong, but that day it takes 7 hours to get to Jogja. And from Jogja to Surabaya which usually takes 7- 8 hours became 10 hours. It was a very hard trip. But that was the fun of mudik I guess.
